About The Random Chocolates
by Tim Guest
In 2006 The Random Chocolates were born among sausages sizzling in a frying pan. As these were no ordinary chocolates, they refused to ooze into the oil but instead melted together to form an inseparable band. A bit like a Snickers bar left on the dashboard of a car, it has trans-chocrified into something that still tastes like chocolate, but looks and feels like nothing else.
Together, The Random Chocolates bring a unique sense of fun, occasion and style of music that is missing from a lot of modern performances. There is an intimacy that the audience is able to see and take part in. With the band, music and crowd as one, only then can The Random Chocolates be appreciated. To be in the crowd, is to be in the band is to be in the family. Now that's deep.
Band Members
Rich "Chunky" Adkin - Guitars, Vocals
Dávid "Choc Norris" Asztalos - Drums
"Mickey Kit-Kat" Kentish - Bass, Vocals

An arabic proverb says, 'to understand a people, you must live among them for 40 days'. Surely, our valued and beloved friend, Mookie Brando must understand them as on November 11 he will have been living among them not for 40 days but 40 years.
To celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime occasion, he will be throwing a party at Repeta Sarok (Curia utca 2.) on November 8 from 7:30pm. The line up will be:
20:00 Overdrive
21:30 The Random Chocolates
23:00 Mookie Brando and the Second Cousins
00:30 Tazmán Ördög.
Cover charge is HUF 1000, which is 250/band. Sounds like a deal!
